The funding will be used to expand its operation throughout Southeast Asia with plans to operate teams in India, Philippines, Malaysia, and Taiwan. EVOS also plans to strengthen its infrastructure by hiring more support staff, including a psychologist, and improving its training facilities.
“With the rise of mobile gaming and esports as an avenue for youth entertainment, EVOS is dedicated to building out the infrastructure needed to cater to professional players and content creators in the (SEA) region,” said Ivan Yeo, CEO of EVOS.
