The 27 year old North American reunites with his ex-teammates from Cloud9, Jake “Stewie2K” Yip and Timothy “autimatic” Ta after being let go by Complexity back in July of 2021.

Evil Geniuses have signed William “RUSH” Wierzba to their active CSGO roster ahead of the 2022 pro season, the Seattle-based organization announced today on their Twitter handle. As earlier reported by TalkEsport, autimatic and RUSH were both linked to Evil Geniuses with the former switching back to Counter Strike after featuring in T1’s Valorant for almost a year.

The ex-Cloud9 trio have now rounded off Evil Geniuses’ CSGO roster with the latter having undergone a plethora of changes within the team which saw Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz, Michał “MICHU” Müller, Owen “oBo” Schlatter part ways along with their head coach Damian “daps” Steele following a litany of fruitless changes within the team, ultimately leading the management to re-evaluate their options going forward, post their exit from the PGL CSGO Stockholm Major.

Before signing up for Evil Geniuses, RUSH was a part of Complexity’s Juggernaut program, then led by Benjamin “blameF” Bremer but only to be moved to the bench back in July 2021 triggered by a string of trophy-less outings.

As said, recent reports from 1pv.fr and TalkEsport did suggest Evil Geniuses, looking to complete their roster with yet another familiar face from the Cloud9 iteration, who has now been confirmed although his addition to the roster was teased by the team’s CEO, Nicole LaPointe Jameson.

Under EG, RUSH reunites with Stewie2K and autimatic, with whom he triumphed at the most notable ELEAGUE Boston Major in 2018, giving North America its first-ever major that too on their home soil. Evil Geniuses have now completed their Counter Strike roster, to be looked upon by coach Damien “maLeK” Marcel. EG will make their debut at the BLAST Premier Spring Groups where they will lock horns with the new look Team Vitality.

Evil Geniuses CSGO are now:

  • Vincent “Brehze” Cayonte
  • Tsvetelin “CeRq” Dimitrov
  • Jake “Stewie2K” Yip
  • Timothy “autimatic” Ta
  • William “RUSH” Wierzba
  • Damien “maLeK” Marcel (coach)
