Secretlab has added Evil Geniuses to its growing list of esports team partners, announcing the launch of an EG-branded chair line. The gaming chair brand has this year alone signed deals with G2 Esports, OG, Team Liquid, and the League of Legends European Championship.
In May, EG completed a brand refresh alongside the announcement of a partnership with LG Ultragear. Last month, the organization partnered with Motorola to showcase the company’s flagship 5G smartphone.
Overall, the last 12 months have been a unique time for one of the oldest active North American esports organizations. EG elected not to take part in the process for becoming a franchise partner in the Call of Duty League, dropping out of one of its most successful titles. However, this year the organization made a return to the League of Legends Championship Series, another long-term partnership league it had been absent from since 2014.
