Chicago-based technology and investment firm PEAK6 Investments LLC today announced that it has acquired Evil Geniuses
and appointed a new CEO for the team as part of the deal.Terms of the deal were not disclosed, and the team declined to provide additional information when asked by The Esports Observer. Nicole LaPointe Jameson, previously an associate in PEAK6’s Strategic Capital division, will serve as the team’s new CEO, with Evil Geniuses COO Phillip Aram continuing on in the same role that he took in September 2017.
