In 2020, the event returns to a much greater level, after the popular CSGO GG.Bet Ice Challenge which featured only four teams and a $50,000 prize pool. Na’Vi is one of the 8 teams that will be invited directly to the competition in the UK in February.
The GG.Bet Ice Challenge was hosted in London back in February by eight teams for a slice of GG.Bet’s $250,000 prize pool. The squad included Na’Vi, North, Heroic and AVANGAR, and after winning the final over Na’Vi, the Danish North took home $30,000 from the $50,000 prize pool.
For 2020, the promoters of the tournament, gg.bet, expanded the prize pool to $250,000 but also invited a minimum of eight teams.
