Esports betting ‘GG.Bet’ to host tournament in London

by Ben Hill

In 2020, the event returns to much greater level, after the popular CSGO GG.Bet Ice Challenge which featured only four teams and $50,000 prize pool. Na’Vi is one of the teams that will be invited directly to the competition in the UK in February.

The GG.Bet Ice Challenge was hosted in London back in February by eight teams for a slice of GG.Bet’s $250,000 prize pool. The squad included Na’Vi, North, Heroic and AVANGAR, and after winning the final over Na’Vi, the Danish North took home $30,000 from the $50,000 prize pool.

For 2020, the promoters of the tournament, gg.bet, expanded the prize pool to $250,000 but also invited a minimum of eight teams.

What is GG.BET?

GG.BET is one of the most accredited esports betting sites, among Betway and Bet365.

GG.Bet is a UK offshore bookmaker accredited in the Netherlands Antilles and Curacao. While people in the UK are not recommended to use offshore bookies, GGBet offers a lot to eSport betting fans.

The firm is an eSports bookmaker expert, meaning that League of Legends betting, CS:GO betting, Dota 2 betting and a large number of other titles are very various markets available.

GG.Bet has been around for a few years now, and its presence has grown based on the recent increase of eSports betting.

CS:GO Growing in the UK

CSGO has not been the biggest stage for Counter-Strike in history in England, particularly England. Most top-tier players from Great Britain are also difficult to identify. But in 2020 the British look good since in London, there will already be two large-scale events. For a share of $300.00, three teams of four will be created for the BLAST Premier Spring Tournament.

These are not just squads, either. There will be Astralis, FaZe Clan, OG and several other top CSGO teams. Another great news is GG.Bet hosting another London event. Considering the prestige of the British Isles and their people, the Counter-Strike and esports, in general, will be widely displayed.
