ESL 
has announced a partnership with PepsiCo to make energy drink MTN DEW AMP GAME FUEL the official global beverage partner for all ESL events through 2020.
The deal begins with this weekend’s Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Chicago Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) tournament and will continue to cover IEM and ESL One events, as well as ESL’s Pro League for CS:GO.
With the partnership, ESL event broadcasts will now include a “MTN DEW AMP GAME FUEL Power Plays” analysis segment following each semi-finals and finals match for both CS:GO and Dota 2, as well as during the ESL Pro League regular season.

“We have a deep-rooted, collaborative relationship with Mountain Dew and adding MTN DEW AMP GAME FUEL, a drink designed for gaming, as our official global beverage partner is a natural fit,” said ESL North America senior vice president of brand partnerships Paul Brewer, in a release. “Building on our joint success, product integration and custom content will create new ways for us to engage fans all over the world.”
ESL and Mountain Dew first partnered in 2016 to launch the Mountain Dew League for CS:GO, which has awarded more than $500K USD to amateur teams to date. The league’s ninth season began last month. MTN DEW AMP GAME FUEL is also a sponsor of the Call of Duty World League , as well as teams OpTic Gaming , Immortals , Dignitas , and SK Gaming .
