Danish esports organization North has extended its partnership with audio equipment maker Enterprise Solutions and Gaming (EPOS). EPOS is a Danish audio and video company specializing in audio peripherals such as headsets and amplifiers. Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
This deal will see EPOS and North’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team collaborate on numerous creative initiatives like “Hear The Comms,” a post-match production which gives CS:GO fans the ability to listen to parts of North’s in-game communications.
As part of the arrangement, North’s players will use EPOS’ audio equipment for both travel and match use. EPOS will all be featured prominently on the North game jersey for the remainder of 2020, starting at the ESL Pro League.
EPOS is an independent company born from the relationship between Demant A/S and Sennheiser electronic GmbH & Co. KGCommunications A/S. The two entered into a joint venture to create studio and gaming headsets. However, the beginning of 2020 saw that relationship end with EPOS evolving into its own entity. Consequently, EPOS will manufacture and sell existing Sennheiser Communications portfolio products for Enterprises Solutions and Gaming co-branded as EPOS | SENNHEISER products, while also introducing a new EPOS branded portfolio.
North boasts partnerships with Capgemini, NOCCO, Pinnacle, and has continued its partnership with EPOS for another year.
