ELEAGUE, the esports events brand co-created by Turner 
and IMG, will host a Mortal Kombat 11 tournament in July at RTX Austin, the annual convention of online entertainment brand, Rooster Teeth.
ELEAGUE x Mortal Kombat 11 Arena at RTX Austin presented by AT&T Fiber is the grand finals event, and it will be held on July 6 following a series of online qualifying tournaments held through Battlefy
. Six open online qualifiers will be held, each hosted by a pro Mortal Kombat 11 player.
The grand finals event will be streamed live via Twitch
, and cable network TBS will air a one-hour highlights special later this summer. Rooster Teeth will also produce Mortal Kombat 11 content to promote the online tournaments. ELEAGUE has not yet revealed the prize pool for the tournament. Additional details will follow in the run-up to the July finals.
AT&T Fiber, the high-speed internet service provider arm of AT&T Communications, will serve as the presenting sponsor for the tournament.

The ELEAGUE x Mortal Kombat 11 Arena tournament is also a collaboration between multiple WarnerMedia companies. Mortal Kombat 11 is published by WB Games, which owns the game’s developer, NetherRealm Studios. WarnerMedia also owns Turner and TBS, while Rooster Teeth is a subsidiary of Otter Media, another WarnerMedia company.
ELEAGUE is currently running a 13-week online streaming series on Twitch called ELEAGUE Mortal Kombat 11 Showdown, which challenges top online influencers and fighting game pros to win as many matches as possible within each four-hour window.
