Following last month’s announcement of a Collegiate Rocket League tournament at the NCAA Final Four Fan Fest in April, ELEAGUE and Psyonix
The ELEAGUE x Rocket League Game Zone Presented by AXE will be a four-day activation from April 5-8 at the Fan Fest at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The event is centered on the NCAA Division I men’s basketball championship. ELEAGUE’s activation will include the Collegiate Rocket League (CRL) Spring Invitational tournament, which features the top four teams from the current CRL Spring Season.
AXE, Unilever’s body spray and fragrance brand, is a new sponsor for both ELEAGUE and Rocket League. The sponsorship has only currently been confirmed for the event, but in an interview with The Esports Observer this morning, Turner Sports senior vice president of sales Seth Ladetsky said that further news on AXE’s involvement with ELEAGUE and Rocket League would be forthcoming.

Additionally, ELEAGUE will produce a highlights-driven feature television show based on the competition, which will air on TBS
The CRL Spring Invitational is just one part of a wider agreement between ELEAGUE and Psyonix, as announced last month. ELEAGUE will produce a TBS feature series based around the next two seasons of the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS), and Turner Sports’ ad sales team will also handle all advertising and sponsorship sales for those seasons.
