Anton Zaslavski, the Russian-German electronic dance music (EDM) artist, producer, and DJ known as “Zedd,” will perform at the Overwatch League Grand Finals in Philadelphia later this month.
Zaslavski is a noted Overwatch fan who has competed alongside pro players and showcased his in-game rankings via Twitter in the past. He will perform prior to the start of the Grand Finals on Sept. 29 at the Wells Fargo Center.
“I’ve been a massive Overwatch fan from the start, so getting to perform at the Grand Finals is an amazing intersection of my passions,” said Zaslavski, in a news post. “I know the Philly crowd is going to be awesome, and I’m looking forward to putting on a show that will get my fellow Overwatch League fans pumped for the championship action onstage.”
The Grammy Award-winning Zaslavski is the artist and producer behind several international hit singles, including “Clarity” (featuring Foxes) and “The Middle” (featuring Maren Morris and Grey). Last year, hip-hop artist DJ Khaled was the performer at the inaugural Overwatch League Grand Finals at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
