Echo Fox Names CELSIUS as Energy Drink Sponsor

CELSIUS is now the official energy drink sponsor of Echo Fox. It is the beverage brand’s first esports sponsorship.

Echo Fox has added two other sponsors in 2019: gaming chair maker OPSEAT and headset brand Audeze.

The organization competes in the League of Legends Championship Series along with games such as Dragon Ball FighterZ, Fortnite, and Super Smash Bros.

Echo Fox

today announced a partnership with Celsius Holdings, Inc. that makes its CELSIUS brand the organization’s official performance energy drink sponsor.

This is the first esports sponsorship deal for CELSIUS. All four of its drink offerings—CELSIUS Originals, CELSIUS HEAT, CELSIUS On-the-Go, and CELSIUS Sweetened with Stevia—will be provided to Echo Fox players across its teams.

“As the esports landscape continues to evolve, the competition has become even more fierce. Players are beginning to adopt strict physical and mental training regimens to stay sharp, and CELSIUS will help them reach their peak performance,” said CELSIUS executive vice president of marketing Matt Kahn, in a release.

Echo Fox competes in the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) and has teams in Fortnite and APEX Legends, as well as players in fighting games such as Dragon Ball FighterZ, Street Fighter V, Super Smash Bros. , and Mortal Kombat 11.

This deal marks Echo Fox’s third new sponsorship deal in 2019, following the announcement of OPSEAT as its official gaming chair provider in February and last month’s partnership with headset maker Audeze.
