Gaming festival organizer DreamHack signed an agreement making Kellogg Company snack brand Pringles a festival partner for its upcoming 2019 edition of DreamHack Winter in Jönköping, Sweden. The partnership was initiated by the agency Jung von Matt/SPORTS.
“We are thrilled to partner with DreamHack and to be able to connect and engage with esports enthusiasts & Pringles fans on the ground at the Festival. Being a partner of DreamHack’s iconic Winter event signifies the importance of the esports community and gaming to Pringles”, said Hend Hassona, market activation manager for Pringles in a release.
The partnership was kicked off today with DreamHack launching a “Fan Can Art Competition” where fans can create their own Pringles can design. Additionally, Pringles will set up a booth to engage fans on-site at the expo area during DreamHack Winter 2019.
Pringles recently entered several sponsorship agreements with esports competitions including multiple ESL events, the League of Legends European Championship (LEC) Summer Split 2019 Finals, the Overwatch League Grand Finals 2019, as well as the upcoming 2020 season of the Overwatch League.
DreamHack Winter takes place Nov. 28-Dec. 1.
