Dignitas has signed a partnership deal with ExpressVPN, a British Virgin Islands-based virtual private network service. Express is now the official team sponsor and exclusive VPN provider for the esports organization and will engage in content creation surrounding the brands that till focus on the importance of cyber security and gaming. Financial and other details were not disclosed.
The companies plan to use YouTube as their distribution platform for content that will highlight “…the benefits of using a VPN (Virtual Private Network) for gaming and live streaming”. The collaborated content will be released on Dignitas team channels and esport player channels.
VPN’s have steadily started entry in the esports partnership space. In February, VPN service provider Hide My Ass, became a sponsor of Fnatic, while Method partnered with NordVPN last December.
Dignitas is a North American esports organization owned by New Meta Entertainment with Michael Prindiville as its CEO.
