Dignitas Adds John Spiher as Director of Partnerships

John Spiher has been named the new director of partnerships for esports organization Dignitas, after serving in the same role for the Overwatch League’s Houston Outlaws.

Spiher had been with the Outlaws since January, during which time parent company Infinite Esports & Entertainment was acquired by Immortals Gaming Club. Immortals is currently in the process of selling the Outlaws, since it already owns the Overwatch League’s Los Angeles Valiant.

“I will be working with the team on creating and amplifying their relationships,” Spiher wrote in a LinkedIn post about his new Dignitas role. “I look forward to continuing traveling the world teaching brands about the power and impact of esports.”

Spiher was also previously co-founder and senior vice president of Infinite Esports’ Triggerfish Partnerships arm, as well as director of business development for Counter Logic Gaming and marketing director for DXRacer. He is also currently the program director for the Gamers Outreach charity, and a board member of Rise Above the Disorder.

Dignitas’ current partners include Champion, HyperX, MTN DEW AMP GAME FUEL, Raynor Gaming, Ridgebake, Caffeine, and Vie.gg.
