It’s official, Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz is coming home to Astralis.
Everyone knows that Astralis is one of the top-tier CSGO teams in the world. The Danish squad consists of some of the best players in the world, which allowed it to win many events. Even though all of them are special, Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz is in a league of its own because he is one of the best players in the world.
Dev1ce played a key role for his team for many years, but he wasn’t around lately due to different problems. However, following the recent tweet, it seems like he will be back after one month.
The news
According to Astralis, dev1ce will be back for his team and take part in the upcoming CCT North Europe Series 2 playoffs. The latter is scheduled to begin on December 4 and will include many of the top-tier teams in Europe.
Aside from all of the top-tier teams that people will have the chance to watch, the event will draw even more attention because of dev1ce. This will be the first event for the Danish superstar since he played for Ninjas in Pyjamas at IEM Winter back in 2021.
Following this event, there were rumors that he’d join Astralis. However, it took the team a couple of months to make the transfer happen because fans had to wait until October this year. The bad news for them was that dev1ce wasn’t able to take part in the Elisa Masters Espoo. Since Astralis wasn’t able to rely on him, the team played with Kristoffer “Kristou” Aamand.

Fortunately, the long waiting is over because the living legend will be a part of Astralis’s roster in the upcoming event. This tournament has a $50,000 prize pool and will include al ot of the big names in the region, such as OG.
The group stage has already begun, but the playoffs will take place on December 2-7. Needless to say, dev1ce makes Astralis the big favorite, but it will be interesting to see if the team will live up to the expectations.
