DAZN, an over-the-top subscription sports streaming service, has inked a deal to stream the Blast Premier 2020 League with an English broadcast in Brazil. Formerly called the Blast Pro Series, Blast Premier is a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive league featuring 12 teams including the popular Brazilian team, Made in Brazil (MiBR).

While financial details of the deal were not disclosed, DAZN will broadcast the league exclusively in English to its customers in Brazil. While the most prominent platforms for BLAST have been YouTube and Twitch, the company does have deals in place Winstrike and TV 2 Denmark, which covers most of the CIS and Denmark.

DAZN has quickly made moves in the streaming space, having acquired the rights to Brazilian women’s national tennis team coverage as well as the Fed Cup, which takes place in Budapest.

Blast just wrapped up its opening weekend and will continue to play until the finals are completed June 16-21. In 2020, $4.25M USD in total prize money will be given away during the season.
