Cox Communications, the largest privately-owned telecom in the United States, has announced a sponsorship deal with the Overwatch League’s Database-Link-e1521645463907 Atlanta Reign.

Atlanta Esports Ventures—a joint venture between Cox Enterprises and financial advisory firm Province, Inc.—was formed to acquire the league spot and establish the team last year. Cox Communications is Cox Enterprises’ largest division.

Cox Communications branding will appear on the Reign’s jerseys, and the company will sponsor the team’s home and training facility during the season. Alongside the news, the Reign posted a team house tour video sponsored by Cox.

“There is no doubt that Cox is a great fit for the Atlanta Reign,” said Atlanta Esports Ventures president and CEO Paul Hamilton, in a release. “Our audience relies on the technology they provide, and we believe this sponsorship will continue to demonstrate their commitment to esports and the fans.”

The Atlanta Reign is one of eight expansion teams added to the Overwatch League for its second season this year. Beginning in 2020, all 20 league teams will play all of their home games in their respective home markets. In addition to Cox, the Reign has gaming chair maker Secretlab and Atlanta-based Autotrader as sponsors.
