  • Cloud9 has added a second Apex Legends team, and its first-ever full roster from Brazil.
  • Other organizations such as Immortals and Luminosity Gaming currently have teams from Brazil, both in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
  • Battle royale shooter Apex Legends launched in February to huge Twitch viewership, and several other organizations have also signed teams.

has added its first-ever Brazilian team with the announcement that it has signed an Apex Legends roster from the country.

The roster of Nino “ninexT” Pavolini, Gabriel “isno” Ceregatto, and Vinícius “noted” Mancinni is actually Cloud9’s second active Apex Legends team, as the organization previously signed a North American squad in March.

In February, Cloud9 signed Brazilian League of Legends Database-Link-e1521645463907 player and streamer Flávio “Jukes” Fernandes. Lucas Braga is listed as Cloud9’s manager for both Fernandes and the country as a whole.

Cloud9 is the latest organization to make a push in Brazil. Last year, Immortals acquired the defunct Made in Brazil (MiBR) brand along with a new Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Database-Link-e1521645463907 (CS:GO) roster and sponsors. Luminosity Gaming Database-Link-e1521645463907

also has a Brazilian CS:GO team and previously had a PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS Database-Link-e1521645463907 team from the region, while OpTic Gaming Database-Link-e1521645463907 briefly had a women’s CS:GO team last fall.
