Call of Duty League team Chicago Huntsmen announced via social media Thursday evening that it has partnered with the United States Army. What this partnership entails in terms of activations, joint activities, and financials was not disclosed at the time of writing.

In May the NRG Esports-owned franchise signed a deal with Popeyes restaurants that included logo placement on jerseys during competitions, digital and social media integration on Huntsmen video content, and a title sponsorship of a Call of Duty: Warzone exhibition tournament that took place in May.

The U.S. Army joins Huntsman sponsors Turtle Beach, Popeyes, Zippo, Crep, PepsiCo’s Mountain Dew, and Metro by T-Mobile

Chicago Huntsmen is the latest in a growing list of esports organizations to partner with the U.S. Army,  which signed on as a title sponsor to the Call of Duty League in March, and partnered with World of Warcraft-focused esports organization Limit in April. In 2019 it partnered with Complexity Gaming and Activision Blizzard’s Call of Duty Endowment charity event, CODE Bowl.
