Sneaker care brand Crep Protect has signed a deal with NRG Esports’ Call of Duty League team Chicago Huntsmen. The deal will include promotional content as well as a line of co-branded products.
Sneaker collecting is a popular pastime among high-profile esports figures, particularly those affiliated with Call of Duty. Former CoD professional and 100 Thieves founder Matt “Nadeshot” Haag is an avid collector, and has incentivized his competitive teams by offering to purchase them high-end shoes after significant victories.
“There are a lot of sneaker collectors here at Huntsmen so to be partnered with a top of the line product like Crep Protect is a dream come true,” said NRG co-CEO Hector Rodriguez in a release.
