- The World Showdown of Esports (WSOE) has added cybersecurity company Avira as a sponsor for this weekend’s WSOE 5 Hearthstone tournament.

- WSOE 5: Hearthstone – The Return of Jia has a $38K USD prize pool and features the champion of December’s WSOE 2 tournament.
Online security company Avira has partnered with ESP Gaming 
for this weekend’s World Showdown of Esports (WSOE) tournament, which is focused on Blizzard Entertainment’s competitive card game, Hearthstone .
Avira will be the official cybersecurity and gaming optimization sponsor for WSOE 5: Hearthstone – The Return of Jia, which takes place on March 30-31 at the PokerGO Studio at the ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. The company’s products will be featured in-studio and within broadcasts.
The German company makes a variety of cybersecurity and online tools, and is using the partnership with WSOE to position its products for competitive players. Avira is currently offering free WSOE-branded trials for two of its gaming-centric software tools: Avira System Speedup and Avira Phantom VPN.

WSOE 5: Hearthstone – The Return of Jia features Jacinta “Jia” Dee, winner of December’s WSOE 2 tournament, battling against four other top women Hearthstone players for a share of the $38K prize pool. The event also includes show matches between notable Hearthstone personalities.
