AOC announces partnership with Red Bull

AOC has announced a long-term partnership with Red Bull which will see them provide monitors for all Red Bull esports events.

Tournaments series like Red Bull Player One and Red Bull Strijders will be supported by AOC over the entire course of the remaining year. They will also be sponsoring selected prizes and competitors will be able to win AOC gaming monitors during several of the events. The monitors will also be featured at events like CS:GO Flick, where players will play on AGON AG251FZ.

Additionally, all Red Bull Player One events will be provided with a selection of models including AOC’s AG271QG, AG251FZ and AG241QG. The provided models were carefully selected for each esport and boast fast reaction times of as little as 1 ms, refresh rates of up 240 Hz and QHD resolutions reaching up to 2560 x 1440 pixels.

Red Bull Player One sees players from 28 participating countries compete in amateur League of Legends 1v1 tournaments. The best national players will get the chance to head to the Red Bull Player One Bootcamp. Players will get the opportunity to stay in a gaming house with League of Legends pro-players as they prep for the World Final which will take place in São Paulo, Brazil.

It was recently announced that AOC was a partner at the Dota 2 Disneyland Paris Major where the their G2590PX gaming monitor was used throughout the tournament. The major saw Team Secret take home the trophy after a convincing 3-1 result over Team Liquid. 

Esport Insider says: Red Bull continues to host more and more tournaments every year, so it’s key to provide players with top-notch peripherals. It’s also great to see AOC continue to expand its involvement into esports.
