Alienware Named First Presenting Sponsor of Rift Rivals: North America vs. Europe

• Dell’s Alienware brand has extended its partnership of League of Legends (LoL) esports.

• In addition to providing official competition PC and display hardware of Rift Rivals NA vs. EU, the brand will be the presenting sponsor.

• Riot Games and Alienware entered into a multi-year partnership deal in January that includes multiple LoL competitions throughout North America and Europe.

Alienware  is the first presenting sponsor of Rift Rivals 2019: North America vs. Europe. The Dell Technologies  brand will also provide PC and display hardware for the event, which takes place on June 27-29 in Los Angeles.

The official watch party for Rift Rivals, dubbed the Alienware Watch Party, will be held on June 28 down the street from the League of Legends Championship Series  (LCS) Arena. The 18+ activation will include Pro View stations to watch the game, pro player meetups, and refreshments available to purchase. The new 2v2 “Best of the West” Championship Belt will also be on display.

Guests will be invited to join the audience that evening for Hotline League Live, a talk show hosted by content creator Travis Gafford and NA LCS Analyst Mark Zimmerman.

“As an integral partner across the League of Legends and esports ecosystem, we’re delighted to have Alienware become the first-ever presenting sponsor of Rift Rivals,” said Matt Archambault, head of esports partnerships and business development for North America at Riot Games  in a release. “Given their commitments to both the LCS and League of Legends European Championship  (LEC) leagues, in addition to Global Events, we’re eager to level-up the event as our own Ryder Cup, complete with unique activations for both onsite fans and our viewers.”

In January, Alienware and Riot Games entered into a multi-year partnership to become the official competition PC and display sponsor for the NA LCS, LEC, and the LoL World Championship.

Competition hardware includes Alienware’s Aurora R8 computers and 240Hz monitors. Dell’s SupportAssist diagnostic tool will also be used to help prevent technical issues during professional competition.

Alienware’s partnership also includes the Mid-Season Invitational, North America vs. Europe Rift Rivals, and the All-Star Event.
