The lineup for the inaugural Metarama Gaming + Music Festival has been announced, bringing esports teams, gaming personalities, and musicians together in one event.
Gaming personalities such as Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, Seán William “Jacksepticeye” McLoughlin, Chance “Sodapoppin” Morris, Nicholas Teddy “Nick Eh 30” Amyoony, Ben “DrLupo” Lupo, Imane “Pokimane” Anys, and Nick “NickMercs” Kolcheff will be in attendance.
Taking place at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds on October 19-20th, the event will have two outdoor stages that’ll host musical performances and Overwatch League exhibition matches, including Philadelphia Fusion vs. Seoul Dynasty, and Guangzhou Charge vs. San Francisco Shock.
There will be a ‘Streamer Zone’ where the aforementioned personalities will be present, allowing fans to play alongside them. A LAN Center is also planned with day-long amateur tournaments, though more details are yet to be disclosed.
Other gaming initiatives at the festival include the ‘League of Legends: Pros vs. Joes’ tournament finals and Metarama Masters, a celebrity Pro-Am competition that’ll include musicians and gamers teaming up to compete on unannounced titles.
Metarama Gaming + Music Festival is produced by C3 Presents, the company that is also behind events such as music festival Lollapalooza, alongside Scott London and Seth Schorr from Esports Hospitality Concepts.
Esports Insider says: Some of us were initially skeptical regarding this festival but the lineup is actually surprising solid. At the very least, the caliber of personalities that’ll be present will sell a truck load of tickets and that’s what this is all about – right?
