has acquired Framerate, a social video network that shares an array of gaming and esports-related content.

Framerate has a presence across social media networks such as Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, where it shares a variety of gaming-related video clips including esports competition highlights, game trailers, original shows, and user-submitted content.

The company launched in 2018 and has accumulated more than 100,000 total social media followers to date. According to a release from Super League Gaming, video analytics firm Tubular Labs has named Framerate the “leading independent gaming media channel on Instagram over the last six months.”

Super League Gaming plans to integrate Framerate within its myriad offerings, using Framerate’s platform to highlight top players from Super League competitions while also tapping into Framerate’s following to promote its own events.
