NRG Esports today announced that it has added iBUYPOWER as its new official PC gaming sponsor, marking the company’s first team sponsorship in some time.
The partnership will extend across all of NRG’s teams, and its players will use iBUYPOWER computer hardware during training and streaming. NRG currently fields teams in such games as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive , Rocket League
“We’re incredibly thrilled to welcome iBUYPOWER back into the esports team landscape,” said NRG president Brett Lautenbach, in a release. “As with any competitive facet, fine-tuning player equipment for maximum performance is a significant priority. With iBUYPOWER, our players will get the most from their hardware—and that’s a good feeling.”
