- A Rainbow Six Siege Six Masters tournament will take place at the Melbourne Esports Open.

- R6 joins the Overwatch Contenders and League of Legends Oceanic Pro League (OPL) finals on the MEO tournament lineup.
Ubisoft has announced that Rainbow Six Siege will be joining the lineup of esports events to be featured at the Melbourne Esports Open on Aug. 31 and Sept. 1. The Six Masters tournament will take place in the Margaret Court Arena at the Melbourne & Olympic Park precinct where multiple arenas will host esports competitions across the two-day event.
Last year the Six Masters tournament took place at the PAX Australia gaming convention.
Twelve qualifying teams will compete online from June 22 to July 21 to decide a top four who will play on the live stage at MEO.
