Turner and IMG’s esports program ELEAGUE has entered into a partnership with Xbox developer The Coalition
to promote Gears of WarELEAGUE will produce six, hour-long episodes of a docu-series called “ELEAGUE Gears Summer Series: The Bonds and Betrayals of Brotherhood.” The show, which will air on TBS beginning June 14, will follow several pro Gears of War players as they train and compete around the world.
“Bonds and Betrayals of Brotherhood” will lead up to ELEAGUE Gears Summer Series on July 13-14, where eight teams, including players featured on the show, will compete in the first pro tournament for Gears of War 5.

ELEAGUE Gears Summer Series will be held at the ELEAGUE Arena at Turner Studios in Atlanta, Georgia. The final two episodes of the TBS show will focus on key moments from the tournament. Gears of War 5 gameplay will be debuted during the tournament, viewable on Twitch and Turner’s B/R Live.
Gears of War developer The Coalition is wrapping up Season Two of the Gears Pro Circuit, but the partnership with ELEAGUE will help keep fans engaged between now and the upcoming release of Gears of War 5. As of this writing, an official release date has not been announced.
