has landed the global streaming rights for all FIFA 19 Global Series events along with the eWorld Cup. This weekend, FOX Sports will broadcast the FIFA eNations Cup from London, with coverage airing live on Sunday on FS2 and rerun later on FS1. It will also be available to watch via the FOX Sports app.

“This is a great opportunity to expand our ongoing connection with FIFA and our esports presence together with Caffeine,” said Joe Franzetta, FOX Sports VP of rights and business relationships, in a release. “We kicked things off last weekend with the EA Sports FUT Champions Cup from London, and we are ready to go with this weekend’s FIFA eNations Cup.”

Last September, 21st Century Fox invested $100M in Caffeine, with Fox executive chairman Lachlan Murdoch joining the streaming startup’s board. The deal included plans for a joint venture between FOX Sports and Caffeine—a programming studio called Caffeine Studios.

“As part of continued and ongoing growth and professionalization of eFootball around the world, we are excited to have FOX Sports and Caffeine onboard to broadcast EA SPORTS FIFA 19 Global Series events, as well as the FIFA eNations Cup and FIFA eWorld Cup later this year,” said Christian Volk, FIFA’s director of eFootball and gaming, in a release. “FOX Sports and Caffeine are both recognized and highly-respected broadcasters in their own right, and we look forward to working closely with them to further showcase eFootball and bring the passion and excitement of the FIFA 19 Global Series to new audiences.”
