Torque Esports has established a broadcast partnership with European television sports network Eurosport.
The agreement will see Torque Esports’ The Race All-Star Series become available through Eurosport’s network in over 150 countries and territories.

The Race All-Star Series will be available across cable, satellite, IPTV, VoD, and catch-up through the partnership. Each week, over 80 racers compete in the series on the rFactor 2 platform.
Darren Cox, President and CEO of Torque Esports, spoke on the deal in a release: “We’re thrilled to welcome Eurosport as one of our broadcast partners. Having live coverage, direct into European homes is a great step forward for the All-Star Series. We had a fantastic reaction to our initial ESPN broadcasts and we’re thrilled to expand our live television reach throughout Europe.”

Torque Esports has rapidly expanded its broadcast network in recent weeks, entering a similar deal with Disney’s ESPN earlier this month. Also in April, Torque Esports entered a programming syndication agreement with Blake Broadcasting to broadcast its content across Asia-Pacific, Europe, and North America. It’s stated that Torque Esports’ sim racing push was driving factor in the deal.
Cox continued: “Our esports series is just going from strength to strength; new commercial partners in ROKiT Phones, television networks like ESPN and Eurosport, millions of impressions on social media, and more and more drivers wanting to take part. The series has given both Torque Esports in particular and esports racing, in general, a massive boost, and we’re looking to expand on that further in the months ahead.”
Esports Insider says: Torque Esports has done a great job in capitalising on both the drought of traditional sports and the growing awareness of esports, especially when it comes to sim racing. Having both ESPN and Eurosport on board is a big deal in this industry, we just hope this level of acceptance continues post-pandemic.
