Juked.gg, an online esports start-up which aggregates esports streaming feeds, announced that it raised an $800K USD pre-seed round to accelerate development of its online viewing platform.
Founded by Ben “FishStix” Goldhaber and Chris “ChanManV” Chan in September of 2019, the release states that the investment will enable Juked to expand its product offering to new features such as scores and stats, as well as begin monetizing
“As an early stage startup, we’ve relied on our investors to get Juked off the ground and so we feel incredibly lucky to have so many experienced entrepreneurs and investors who see as much promise in Juked as we do,” Goldhaber told The Esports Observer.
Juked.gg supports 24 channels of aggregate viewing including popular esports titles such as League of Legends, Dota 2, Overwatch, and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The site also tracks and shows past events.
The investment round was facilitated by 500 Startups along with other investors that include; Blizzard Entertainment co-founder Mike Morhaime and former Vice President of Esports Amy Morhaime, MyFitnessPal co-founders Mike and Albert Lee, RotoGrinders.com co-founders Cameron MacMillan and Cal Spears, Twitch streamer Ben “CohhCarnage” Cassell, UP2398 General Partner Alex Poon, CP Ventures General Partner Chris Sang, and Nat Goldhaber, managing director of Claremont Creek Ventures. The round also included the AngelList syndicate Noveus Capital, in addition to friends and family.
