Rogue v BDS – LEC Super Week
RGE came into the game needing a win to maintain their push towards the top of the table. For BDS, it was little more than pride on the line. A slightly cagey start to the game, though RGE always looked slightly ahead. By the mid-game BDS had started to pull ahead, though the game remained tight. BDS did manage to keep the lead, taking down RGE once again. The loss piles the pressure on RGE as they look to claim a top spot in the LEC.
What is actually happening??

Excel Esports v SK Gaming LEC Super Week
A huge game for both side in their chase for playoffs. Both sat on 7-9, a win would go a huge way to securing their spot. The entire game was as intense as you’d expect, though XL always looked to have something more going on. Than rang true until the end, when XL managed to secure a massive victory. It’s back to the drawing board for SK who have just one more shot.

Astralis v MAD Lions – LEC Super Week
With MAD having one eye on the top spot, AST needed to bring the heat. With playoffs far from a guarantee for AST, they need to put the pressure on MAD. A tight early to mid game, saw neither side getting a huge advantage early on. Crucially for AST, they started to move ahead into the late game as MAD felt the pressure. The longest game of the day thus far, and it was too tight to call even late on. Eventually, however, MAD won the game and picked up a massive win toward the LEC top spot. As for AST, it piles on the pressure ahead of their final game tomorrow.

Vitality v Fnatic – LEC Super Week
A win for VIT would all but secure their spot in the playoffs, as for FNC, they needed this win. FNC came into Super Week in trouble but a win yesterday might have saved their blushes. Another long game, but it was FNC that looked the most likely to win it, always maintaining a slender lead. As it got into the post-30-minute period, however, that small lead became less impactful as VIT looked to hit back. The game went past the 50-minute mark, and at that stage, it only looked like FNC could win. With Upset almost solely carrying his team. FNC managed to do it as they claimed a massive victory on their way to securing playoffs.

G2 Esports v Misfits Gaming – LEC Super Week
With both sides going into the game at 10-6, it was the match that could decide playoff fates. G2 looked on top through the early and mid game, with MSF struggling to get a grip. It was a textbook G2 late split recovery, as they set their sights on the top of the LEC. With a Baron claimed, G2 surged into the MAD base one last time. The win meant that G2 had secured their place at Worlds with just one day remaining in the Summer Split. It also means G2 is the first team in the world to lock in their Worlds spot.
