Valve releases new map for Danger Zone – esportsjunkie

For the lovers of ago an exciting update has arrived. Valve has introduced a new map to the Danger Zone battle royale game mode. Apart from the new map tons of other changes have been introduced to improve the experience of the Danger Zone.

Sirocco is the name of the new map that makes its way into the battle royal. The map is quite big since it includes sandy banks, underground pathways, and even small townships. So it will take some time to get used to it.

New Items!

The developer has also introduced new items exclusively for this mode like exoboots. These will improve your movement speed and at the same time will enable you to jump higher. In the coming days, you will also get your hands on the ballistic shield. Contrary to what the name suggests, it is not a shield but a remote control drone. It is capable of spying on your rivals and can steal their resources. Lastly, to the new additions, we will have bump mines that will act as a trampoline to send players flying in the sky of the Danger Zone.

They have also introduced changes to the ammo. Now, the weapons you pick will have more bullets than in the previous patch. It means that you will not have to waste your time picking up the ammo anymore. You can now jump into fights as soon as you got your hands on a gun. You can also ping location, items, and enemies. The developer has also changed the UI of the weapons select menu making it similar to the ones other modes of the game.

The last change is the arrival of the respawn ability of your teammates. You can now revive your fallen friends in the Danger Zone. This change is quite synonymous to the feature Fortnite and Apex Legends. It is not that surprising to see it in CS: GO since it was about time when almost every game picked up this feature from the Respawn title.
