The Top 10 Incredible Tekken 7 Underdog Moments

by devaccess

A few weeks ago we brought you The Top 10 Tekken 7 comeback rounds, but as we all know, a single round doesn’t tell the whole story of match. A comeback begins when you’ve fallen behind, but as an underdog the odds are stacked against you right from the very beginning.

They face an uphill battle before the match even begins. But these are the tales of those players who beat the odds and brought glory to themselves, their character, or their entire country.

So here are the Top 10 Underdog Moments in Tekken 7.

Tokido once said “Fighting Games is some so great” and if you don’t agree, then you should just fall off a cliff. Moments like these are why we play fighting games and seeing people push their boundaries and make miraculous plays like these make me so happy.

Can you please, please, do stories on the commentators such as Aris, Tasty Steve, and MarkMan? Or stories on the players like Knee, Qudans, JDCR, or Lil Majin to name a few?

I really enjoy the content here but WHY THE FUCK do you spoil EVERY NUMBER seconds before showing the whole clip? I'm assuming you think the viewers are complete dipshits and need constant motivation to keep watching? It does the opposite for me as I click off the video. For fucks sake DO BETTER. BE BETTER.

Tekken esport is ongoing anime. In 2017 Qudans had miraculous run. He was losing many times but eventually won against JDCR and Knee multiple time.

In 2018 everyone thought it'd be Knee vs Qudans, but Rangchu wiped them with freaking Panda. And of course, Arslan Ash's recent run. It's such amazing spectator experience, even for non player. The visual and presentation are top notch and everyone can enjoy two characters beating the crap outta each other.

The thing about Arslan taking 1st place in this video is that he had quite a big battle of determination to continue trying for the visa. Also, the difficulty in winning Evo is the hardest afaik. More players, more variety, etc…

I reckon by the time we get past EVO Vegas in August, you'll have a lot of matches to choose from for another list. Not only that, but other tournaments in the tour.

Both Rangchu and Arslan Ash's stories are incredible. One became a world champion with a character people thought couldn't win major tournaments, and the other put an entire country on the map by beating the best players in the world in a long bracket.

Tekken 7 was the most hype game at combo breaker last week and we're seeing incredible growth in prize pools, players and spectators. Amazing to see Tekken finally getting the recognition it deserves!
