But for a few crazy months, that changed.
The AUG meta helped Finnish hopefuls become superstars, and brought down veteran players who failed to adapt. And all it took was one, tiny price cut.
How is it possible that a gun with so much potential had been overlooked for so long?
Simply put, the AUG was a buried treasure, hidden in plain sight.

I only gravitate towards 1 gun, the autosniper. Because nothing says "I am going to make this game miserable for you" more then a gun that kills anyone in 2 shots max with almost no recoil, high-rate of fire and sniper-zoom function. Perfect for the person who is playing CS for the salt.

I dont play CSGO, i just like the videos but from what im listening, the AUG sounds like that one kid people made fun of and shunned from his/her potential all of his life until he/she graduated and now the bullies are trying to kick him/her back to its school days

This is one of the problem I have with CS: The game doesn't evolve. There is like 20 guns in the game but the pros only use 3. When a gun that was previously never picked get buffed a bit, everyone complains. They should remove every gun and keep only the m4, AK47 an AWP. Why have them in the menu if they are lesser options by design.

There's a meme pick or noob hero in almost every game, but in CS it's the vast majority of guns that are seen as such.

I bet Valve had it planned out all along to have the AUG and Krieg becoming more important when they lowered both prices down.
The problem is that the community is fucking dumb and instead of using both weapons to cancel each other out, they used only one and complained about it.
Now you'll have to nerf the SG as well because there's no gun in the game that can counter it on the same level.

Why does cs only have to be m4s and ask? Who made that rule? Why cant it be multiple guns?
I been using the aug throughout the entirety of CS:GO. Only when I ran into certain clans in high ranked play would I experience hate and flame. I got more hate for some of the other guns I use and for certain rushes. For example: I use the bizon as CT on train in certain situations like round 2, kill a guy and then spray through the smoke to stop the push. At lower ranks people just hold down the W and it is an easy triple to ace. At higher ranks you can luck out a trip sometimes especially if you are against FaZe.
why not the M4A1-S?
So, USP-S/P2K & Glock, Deagle, MP9 & MAC10, AK47 & M4A4/M4A1-S also AWP are the only weapons for pro's?!
Well I use AUG & SG & it feels pretty good to me. M4/AK or P90 is ossome when enemy's rush to you & with the help of 1 awper behind you can stop the whole 5 player rush.
