StarLadder Major Champion stage viewer’s guide » TalkEsport

The StarLadder Berlin Major starts from coming Thursday. The 24 participants who took part in the previous stages have been cut down to the top 8 teams remaining after two weeks of raw CS:GO action. The top 8 teams which have successfully earned Legend status are guaranteed direct invites to the last-16-phase of the next Major and they will further proceed with their individual runs at the playoffs of the Berlin Major.

The qualifying teams feature many well known and fan-favorite teams among them like ENCE, Na’Vi, and Liquid. The teams which have qualified for Major playoffs for the first time include NRG, Vitality, and AVANGAR. The full list of the top 8 finalists includes ENCE, Vitality, Liquid, NRG, AVANGAR, Astralis, Renegades and Natus Vincere.

The Champion stage matches will go on from Thursday to Sunday featuring two Best-Of-Threes each day in a single bracket elimination format. The event comes to its conclusion on Sunday when the finals will be hosted and the winning team will bask in the glory of a Major win and receive the massive prize pool and the prestigious trophy.

The schedule for the playoffs is as stated:

Thursday, September 5

18:30 –  ENCE vs.  Renegades | BO3
22:00 –  Vitality vs.  AVANGAR | BO3

Friday, September 6

18:30 –  NRG vs.  Natus Vincere | BO3
22:00 –  Astralis vs.  Liquid | BO3

Saturday, September 7

18:30 – Semi-final #1 | BO3
22:00 – Semi-final #2 | BO3

Sunday, September 8

21:00 – Grand Final | BO3
