The Overwatch League tomorrow is expected to release the 2020 homestand schedule, according to people familiar with the matter, and it will detail the events each team will host and when. The league is also expected to reveal details of when tickets will start going on sale as part of tomorrow’s announcement.

The second-year league will transition to its full home/away schedule next year after mainly playing the first two seasons at Blizzard Arena in Burbank, California. The Activision Blizzard-owned property has already revealed the general structure for 2020 that all teams will host at least two homestands and that some teams will host as many as five, but the release tomorrow will reveal specifics.

The league is hosting three homestand weekends this year as dry runs for next year, including this weekend’s Kit Kat Rivalry Weekend hosted by the L.A. Valiant at The Novo at L.A. Live. The Dallas Fuel and Atlanta Reign previously hosted Bud Light-entitled homestand weekends earlier this year. Teams that are more confident in their ability to build a local fanbase and bring them out for several events right from the start are the ones who have requested to host more than two homestands in 2020. The league did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
