Razer and Evil Geniuses have partnered once again, today announcing a two-year sponsorship agreement that will see the team use the peripheral maker’s various devices.
The companies had previously partnered for a sponsorship deal in 2013, but Evil Geniuses then signed with rival maker SteelSeries in 2015. As part of this new partnership, all of Evil Geniuses’ teams and players will utilize Razer’s headsets, keyboards, mice, and mouse pads for both tournaments and training purposes.
Evil Geniuses’ Dota 2 team has qualified for August’s The International 2019 tournament, the game’s de facto World Championship. The event’s prize pool has already surpassed $13M due primarily to crowdfunding, and is on track to surpass last year’s total tally of $25.5M according to Dota 2 Prize Pool Tracker.

Evil Geniuses also competes in games such as Call of Duty , Fortnite , Rocket League , and Rainbow Six Siege. Razer’s long list of esports team partners also includes Gen.G Esports , Team Vitality , Immortals , SK Gaming , and the Seoul Dynasty and Los Angeles Valiant of the Overwatch League , among others.
