Tencent today announced its esport plans for 2020 with the PUBG Mobile Club Open (PMCO) 2019 Fall Split Regional Finals. The total prize pool will reach over 5 million dollars in 2020.

Apart from the PUBG Mobile Club Open in 2020, the PUBG Mobile World League will be running. Next year’s format is designed in such a way that amateurs, semi-pro and professional players would feel comfortable in the highest level.
By 2020, there will be a pyramid structure. The bottom of the pyramid will be the amateur championships, and the PUBG Mobile Club Open and Pro League will follow. The two steps are going to be regional.
Top teams advance to the Regional Pro League, and the World League will follow. In the end, it leads to the 2020 Mobile World PUBG Championship.
A month ago the PUBG Mobile Pro League for South-East Asia was already announced. It has now been announced that Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia will be included in the 2020 SEA Pro Leagues.
James Yang, director of global mobile sports PUBG, also revealed two other Pro Leagues. The PUBG Mobile Americas Pro League and the South Asia Pro League are among those.
The World League is to be divided into two divisions in 2020, just like the PMCO. These are planned for May and October. The PMCO Spring Split 2020 enrollment is scheduled to start in January 2020.
The total PUBG Mobile Esports prize pool in 2020 is expected to amount to over $5 million.
