NODWIN Gaming Teams with Tencent for PUBG Mobile India Series Finale

  • NODWIN Gaming was named the broadcasting partner for the PUBG Mobile India Series Grand Finals.
  • The partnership will see NODWIN handle all live streams and content programming.
  • The announcement comes just days before the March 10 contest at GMC Balayogi Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad.

Tencent Gaming Database-Link-e1521645463907 has added Indian esports organizer NODWIN Gaming as the broadcasting partners for the grand finals at the PUBG Mobile India Series taking place Sunday at the GMC Balayogi Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad.

NODWIN will be responsible for broadcasting the event and managing live streams as well as content programming.

“India will always chart its own path and with the mobile revolution well and truly on, I look forward to building great synergy with Tencent Games in building the PUBG Mobile property in the country,” said NODWIN Gaming founder and CEO Akshat Rathee in a release.

This weekend’s grand finals follows a culmination of in-game qualifiers for all Indian citizens holding a PUBG Mobile account of level 20 and above, and there were registrations for more than 575,000 participants, according to the announcement.

There were 80 squads that made it to the semifinals and 20 of them qualified for Sunday’s finale. The top 10 participants of the grand finals will be awarded a portion of the event’s Rs 1 crore ($142K USD) prize pool with additional prize support coming from smartphone sponsor OPPO.

The news follows Tencent furthering its commitment to PUBG Mobile esports by organizing a year-long event featuring a $2M prize pool divided into a spring and fall split called the PUBG Mobile Club Open.  

NODWIN Gaming is a gaming and esports solutions company working to grow the esports industry in India. Last year, the company partnered with DreamHack to bring the gaming festival to Mumbai for the first time.
