Recaps coming soon

MSI – T1 v AZE

T1 AZE MSI D6

A huge double-kill in the top side to start the game off for AZE, securing an early 500g lead. Sadly for AZE, Faker picks up a 1v1 kill in the mid-lane shortly after. Order was restored shortly after, as T1 moved back into a gold lead. T1’s dominance was fully online by the 13-minute mark, as they moved to a 5.5k lead. By 20-minutes, T1’s victory was a formality as they extended their lead to 16k with two of AZE inhibitors having already fallen. T1 reset, and charged back into the AZE base as they sweep them aside. With just one game left, T1 are looking to secure an unbeaten run.

DFM v AZE

MSI 2022 Day Six

AZE picked up first blood once again, as they desperately try to get a win at MSI. Sadly for AZE, DFM quickly came back into the game, claiming three quick kills and moving to a 1.5k lead. By the 15-minute mark, DFM had moved to 4.5k ahead, as AZE struggle to get a grip on the series. DFM continued to steamroll the mid-game, as they began to siege at the foot of the AZE base. With their base exposed, AZE almost found a game-turning fight, picking up a big snipe onto Harp. Sadly for AZE, they couldn’t follow through with the damage as AFM claimed four kills.

However, AZE found a smart play right after, sending two members to sneak a Baron away from DFM. AZE stalled the game with the Baron but nothing came of it, other than reducing the gold deficit. While DFM looked for a Baron, they overextended and handed AZE another shock Baron. With the wind in their sails, AZE made a push to end the game, picking up two kills after DFM forced a fight. AZE claimed the mid-lane inhibitor as they moved to claim their third Baron. A massive push after the Baron, as AZE found another fight victory and claimed their first win of MSI 2022.

Quick Stats:

  • Teams: DFM – AZE
  • Time: 36:56
  • Kills: 17-13
  • Turrets: 7-9

Firmly into the mid-game, T1 had an 8k lead with Baron onto the Rift shortly. T1 continued to dominate the game, despite the unusual draft. With another team fight secured and Rift Herald smashing into the SGB base, T1 looked to end. SGB couldn’t stop the T1 pressure after they secured the Baron.
