In the previous clash, Made In Brazil faced Singularity and dominated them from start to the finish. With the latest result, MIBR have secured a spot in the semifinals and will compete against Cloud9.

Game 1

The first map of the meeting was Mirage and it was picked by MIBR. The Brazilians started on the CT side, and performed well in the early stages since six rounds played, MIBR was leading 5-1 on the scoreboard. It was at this point that Singularity started to take control of the game and broke the winning streak of the Brazilians. After a good performance from Ricky “floopy” Kemery, SIngularity established a winning streak of its own, yet it was not enough, since the first half ended 8-7 in favor of the Brazilians.

After the break, MIBR dominated the confrontation and quickly pushed the first game of the series to  match point with 15-7. Singularity managed to win a few round., but it was not enough to prevent the Brazilians from closing the account in 16-10.

Game 2

The second map of the series was Inferno. Although the first pistol round went to Singularity, Melo’s Epitacio “TACO” showed that he had a full control over his headshots. The Brazilian got decent number of kills to keep his team at a close distance. Unfortunately, MIBR suffered a blackout from the ninth round and were brutally dominated by Singularity. The NA side closed the first half with a 9-6 lead. Then, similar to what happened on the last map, MIBR come out all guns blazing after the break. At the end of the day, the Godfather of CS, Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo inspired his team to victory, MIBR closed the series, 2-0 with a 16-10 win.
