LEC Adds Warner Music and Tchibo as New Sponsors

With today’s start of the League of Legends Database-Link-e1521645463907 European Championship (LEC) Summer Split, Riot Games Database-Link-e1521645463907 has announced two additional sponsors for the league: Warner Music and Tchibo.

Warner Music will be the official music partner for the LEC Summer Split, with the label providing music during game breaks and contributing entertainment experiences to live events. Additionally, Warner Music is working on a new content series for the LEC.

German retailer Tchibo, known both for coffee and a wide assortment of consumer goods, is the LEC’s first national partner for the DACH region (comprising Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). Tchibo will sponsor the pre-show from German broadcast partner, Summoner’s Inn, and provide coffee products to the LEC studio in Berlin.

Riot’s post about the news suggests that additional LEC sponsorship announcements are forthcoming. Current LEC sponsors include Red Bull, Kia, Shell, Beko, Foot Locker, Logitech G, and DXRacer. Alienware is also the official PC and display partner for the LEC and North America’s League of Legends Championship Series (LCS), while Riot Games has a multi-year events sponsorship with MasterCard.
