Latest Dota 2 league launched ‘Dota 2 Omega’ with $590k prize pool

WePlay organizers of tournaments! Esports and Amazing Esports Activities have co-ordinated the Omega League with a number of European Dota 2 teams.

The tournament is split into two regions: Europe and America. A $590k cash prize pool (£436,821), while a combined $40,00 (£31,768.80) would be distributed to the American ladder in America.

The Omega League playbill includes eight leading organizations: Team Liquid, Virtus.pro, FlyToMoon, Evil Geniuses, Team Secret, Alliance, Nigma, Natus Vincere, and OG Esports 2018 & 2019.

The leading Dota 2 group, which was stripped of its annual The International event, is currently scheduled to take place in 2021, will be “competition, development, and material.” Open qualifications are scheduled for 20 July, the main event will take place from 14 to 6 August.

WePlay! Esports will broadcast the English for the Omega League, while the studio broadcasting company RuHub will run and broadcast Russian for the game.
