  • HyperX is an official sponsor of Esports Championship Series (ECS) Seasons 7 and 8, organized by FACEIT.
  • The peripheral manufacturer will provide game equipment and sponsor a post-game segment called “XFactor Play of the Game.”
  • This is the second time HyperX has partnered with FACEIT for a CS: GO tournament—the first time being the FACEIT London Major in September 2018.

Gaming peripheral manufacturer HyperX Database-Link-e1521645463907 has partnered with competitive gaming platform FACEIT Database-Link-e1521645463907 as an official sponsor of the Esports Championship Series (ECS) Database-Link-e1521645463907. HyperX will provide keyboards, mice, mouse pads, DRAM, and SSD products for ECS Seasons 7 and 8.

In addition to equipment, HyperX will sponsor a post-game segment. After each match, ECS broadcasters will discuss the best play in “XFactor Play of the Game.”

Launched in 2015, FACEIT’s Esports Championship Series is the world’s largest non-publisher funded Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Database-Link-e1521645463907 league. The series is currently in its seventh season and features a prize pool of $500K USD. Pre-qualifiers took place in February and the Challenger Cup was held March 5-7 to determine who would play in the regular season. The ECS Season 7 Finals will take place in Wembley, London, on June 8 and 9.

According to a release by FACEIT, the ECS Season 6 Finals became the most watched CS: GO livestream ever broadcast on YouTube with 3.2M hours.

HyperX first partnered with FACEIT last September when the organization brought its annual CS: GO tournament in the UK. HyperX also sponsored one of the competing teams, Cloud9 Database-Link-e1521645463907. The first FACEIT London Major offered a $1M prize pool and attracted 1M concurrent viewers, according to the company.

“We’re delighted to partner with HyperX once again,” said Michele Attisani, chief business officer and co-founder of FACEIT in a prepared statement. “The team shares the same passion we do for developing the esports scene from the community and grassroots upwards. We’re always looking for ways to organically introduce our partners into the broadcast and we’re excited to work with HyperX to produce a brand new show that complements our efforts to create content that is engaging and entertaining.”
