Gucci invite Fnatic to show

by Rohan Samal

Gucci has for the first time spoken about the esports industry by asking Fnatic to take part in its most recent men’s series.
A player from its LEC team, dressed in Gucci’s clothes, was sent by the London-based organization to attend the series.

Occupied typically by celebrities, actor Jared Leto, actor Andrew Garfield and actor Salma Hayek were also welcomed to the front row of the show. The Fnatic representatives were all attended by Martin “Rekks” Larsson, Gabriël “Bwipo” Rau, Tim “Nemesis” Lipovšek, Zdravetz “Hylissang” Iliev Galabov and Oskar “Self-made” Boderek.

“We are extremely proud of Gucci’s invitation to the Milan Fashion Show, as the special guest on the cross-roads between new world sports and modes,” said Craig Santicchia, Partner Development Manager at Fnatic.

Gucci was always a creative company, like us at Fnatic, expanding the frontiers. Disrupting the conventions and opening up new possibilities. “While this development does not seem to be part of a larger Fnatic-Gucci alliance, we see fashion constantly intertwined with sports. Louis Vuitton’s inclusion in the League of Legends at the 2019 World Championship is probably the most prominent example of this in recent times.
