GO update added revamped Cache map

by Gabriel Hall

Due to a recent update, CS: GO now has a classic feel.

The new Cache edition has been updated today with official Cache servers on Steam, which can be played in Casual, Deathmatch and Scrimmage modes. This indicates that Cache is not yet ready for Competitive play because Valve and the developers of both the map Shawn “FMPONE” Snelling and Sal “Volcano” Garozzo are expected to change it more over time.

Besides the return of Cache, it is now possible to obtain the CS20 Rifle Case and Sticker Capsule from random falls. The case and capsule feature promotional weapons skins from iconic game models as well as the Classic Knife, which was Counter-Strike 1.6’s standard knife model.

It appears that Valve decided to spoil for Counter-Strike’s 20th-anniversary update. There are two red skins in the event, three purple skins, five violet skins and seven blue skins. On the other side, the Classic Knife comes in 13 finishes— all of which are the default models in the match on other weapons.

If you’re fortunate enough to get a CS20 box, you can offer it easily for a big profit on the Steam Community Market. But if in the event you’re looking to buy some of the masks, it would be best to wait a while for prices to drop due to supply and demand.
