G2 Esports partners with Blockchain firm

G2 Esports, headquartered in Berlin, has entered into a strategic partnership with Hdac Technologies, a blockchain technology company.

Hdac Technology will serve as a jersey partner for the Counter-Strike of G2 Esports: Global Offensive and the Battlegrounds squads of PlayerUnknown as part of the deal.

G2 Esports and Hdac Techology partner on content and plan to’ deploy intelligent integrations’ via IoT and blockchain at the organization’s office and gaming room.

In recent months, G2 Esports has also partnered with Domino’s and Red Bull, and extended its deal with Paysafecard.

Carlos “ocelote” Rodriguez, CEO of G2 Esports discussed the partnership in a release: “The merging of blockchain and IoT technologies with gaming is the next step for tech growth in both industries. As trailblazers in esports, G2 is proud to partner with an exciting technology brand like Hdac and support them in their vision to bring innovative solutions to our players and fans.”

This collaboration was intended to “show the accessibility and ease-of-use of its software for the esport industry.” Hdac Software has been contractual platform based on blockchain.
