French President reveals 2023 CSGO Major will be hosted in Paris

CSGO Major is always a sensation for the community all over the world as it is the biggest stage for all the pro players. The first Major of 2022 was hosted by PGL in Antwerp while the second one will be hosted in Rio de Janeiro by IEM.

Last week, we received hints regarding the 2023 CSGO Major. It became official as French President Emmanuel Macron revealed that the 2023 CSGO Major will be hosted by Blast in Paris. The tournament will take place in May 2023 and the President has greeted it as the “Major international esports tournament in 2023”.

From next year, in May, in less than 10 months, our country will host an event that will celebrate its 10th anniversary: ​​the BLAST TV Major Counter-Strike, the very first CS:GO Major organized in France

Moreover, the President added that the CSGO Major 2023 will take place in Bercy which hosted the previous LoL World Championship. Apart from that, Macron also congratulated the ZEvent streamers.

Later, Blast also confirmed 2023 Major and tweeted “The time has come. In 2023… it all changes” along with a teaser video.
