South Korea based organisation MVP.PK is facing scrutiny and legal action by several former players due to delayed salary payments and transfer of prize winnings. The players further intend to move to court and sue the organisation. The MVP.PK spokesperson has confirmed the reports with Dot Esports.
The fiasco not only restricts to a single squad, however, several players from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, League of Legends, Apex Legends, PlayerUnknown’s: Battlegrounds and Honor of Kings teams of MVP.PK have highlighted the delays and poor state of communication within the organisation.
Former Counter-Strike players are yet to receive winnings worth $10,000 for events that were held in mid-2019. A couple of players further alleged that their salaries were delayed for up to three months.
Another player said that his contract was not definite or rather rogue. There have been umpteen examples of organizations exploiting upcoming talents by manipulating their contracts.
